Slender Character – Maya Skeleton & Rigging Process

animated stills of the rigging process for the protagonist of my final year short film.
Texturing is focused on the head and hands (and still be refined), as the rest will be obscured by two alternating set of clothes.
Stills show the process of:
– skeleton
– controllers
– set driven keys
– skinning

The facial rigging has been started with the jaw, teeth and tongue, though now I’m onto tackling the blend shapes and their controllers. This rig is far cleaner than my previous attempt, and hasn’t broken in my tests so far. So my confidence is high, which I’ll need for getting the facial rigging right.
